Itinerary Details

Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe
Upon arrival at Entebbe at 11.50h , we will be picked up for early lunch and then visit the botanical garden. The beautifully landscaped Entebbe botanical garden is a host of country and woodland bird species that you can spend a couple of hours watching. It also hosts orange weaver birds and the red chested sun birds. Later in the afternoon, we will drive to Kampala and spend the night at Cassia Hotel for bed and breakfast.

Day 2: Kampala City Tour
After breakfast, we will take a tour around the city with interesting places to see such as the Fabric market and the Gaddafi Mosque with Morrocan architecture and art that will amaze you. We will also visit the Kabaka Palace which is the official residence of the ruling King in Buganda. A tour of the place will help you understand the history of the kingdom and how the people of Uganda fought to make the country what it is today. After lunch, we will drive to Bukakata to catch the 1600h ferry to Ssese Islands. We will have dinner and spend the night at Ssese Islands Beach Hotel. .

Day 3: Ssese Islands
Today we will walk around the forest and get to see monkeys, baboons, butterflies and other sceneries. In the afternoon, we will be relaxing at the beach and we can opt to take a boat ride. Ssese islands offer peaceful canoeing and boat rids between their many islands. We will have dinner and spend overnight at Ssese Islands Beach Hotel.

Day 4: Departure for Nairobi
After breakfast, we will transfer to Bugala to board a boat back to Entebbe. We will have lunch then drive to the airport for flight back to Nairobi.

    NATURE OF TOUR:
    This tour showcases the beautiful sceneries in Uganda and is meant to help you relax your mind this Christmas and make memorable moments. The accommodation is in hotels that offer excellent services making your stay one to remember.
    Uganda has a warm climate generally but there are light rains in November and December. It would be advisable to carry light cotton clothes especially in Entebbe which is a bit hot and humid. One can also carry some warm clothes for when it rains. During the day, one will need a sunhat and sunglasses. The footwear can be sandals or canvas.
